>be me
>2007, dial-up, three in the morning
>write five lines starting with an arrow
>a stranger I will never meet says "kek"
>log off
that was a poem. we just didn't have a word for it that didn't sound embarrassing.

Every board on the internet spent twenty years writing verse in a format so ugly nobody noticed it was verse. Five lines. Present tense. A turn at the end. That's an epigram. Anon has been publishing an epigram a minute since the Bush administration, anonymously, for free, and burning the archive every ninety days.

$CHAN/POET is that joke with a ticker on it. The engine writes you one. You write one back. Nobody is credited, because nobody ever was.

Four forms. All of them are the same form.

Correct. That is not a bug and it never was.
